Siobhan Strachan gave up chocolate for Lent and as a result raised £125, which she chose to donate to The Bridge for Heroes and we are extremely grateful. Siobhan is pictured handing over her donation to Helen Taylor, CEO of The Bridge for Heroes at our activity centre in Nelson House.
It was a great pleasure to host the Terrington St John Cub Scouts at The Nelson House Activity Centre on the 14th June to have a tour of the Centre and learn how to fix some common problems on their bikes. A great time (and plenty of cake) was had by all!
A fabulous tribute to our therapy dog, ‘Trooper’ the Red Fox Labrador by Bill Fisher, who is a regular contributor at our Art & Crafts Activity and who has a real talent for painting.
This week we bid a fond farewell to Tim Waters who leaves us for a fresh challenge at Anglian Water. Tim joined The Bridge for Heroes in February 2022 as our Activities Coordinator and has made a significant contribution to the development and delivery of the Nelson
