The mission of The Veterans’ Places People and Pathways programme is to create better, more sustainable support for veterans in the communities where they live.
It is supporting major projects to enable veterans to access support that meets their needs. 14 major projects will encourage the development of safe, welcoming places for veterans to go in their local area, support for the people (staff and volunteers in organisations that support veterans) to be able to have access to good quality training and will connect veterans into wider pathways including for mental health support and treatment

The project aims to provide regular, free activities for the Armed Forces Community, which promote positive mental health and wellbeing, including art, photography, woodwork, cycling and bike maintenance, at our Activities Centre in King's Lynn.
This project aims to provide individualised support to veterans with complex needs supporting them through a safe pathway to self-sufficiency through volunteering.
The Warrior Programme empowers individuals to manage their emotions, develop resilience, focus and motivation, whilst building mental strength for Veterans and their families in the East of England Region.
Free online activities for Veterans and partners. Podcasts: Listen to inspiring members of the Armed Forces share their stories. Talks: Discover new interests and join the conversation. Workshops: Drawing, Writing, Photography. Everyone is welcome!
Integration of mental health issues by adding a mental health dimension and it's delivery through a new local person- centred casework service.
We use our expertise in mental health and governance to encourage and support the development of safe pathways and safe places.
Offering 1-2-1 NICE recommended private therapy with accredited therapists for ex- service personnel and / or psychoeducation (6 sessions) for adult family members of veterans with mild to moderately severe mental health difficulties.
