The Bridge for Heroes would like to thank The Norfolk Community Foundation, Love Norfolk, and the Broadland Meridian Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund (a charity connected to Broadland Housing) for their support of Project: Out & About Norfolk.
Thanks to this funding, the project will provide monthly, inclusive, and supported outings and activities for members of the Armed Forces community across West Norfolk. The initiative aims to promote connection, wellbeing, and positive mental health through accessible social and recreational opportunities.
Claire Mackintosh MBE, Chief Executive of Norfolk Community Foundation, said:
‘Norfolk Community Foundation is delighted to support this much needed project that will make a real difference in the community. We wish them every success with their work.’
Helen Taylor, CEO of The Bridge for Heroes, added:
“Project: Out & About Norfolk allows us to create safe, welcoming spaces for veterans to get out, connect with others, and enjoy new experiences. We are thrilled to offer these opportunities and incredibly grateful to Norfolk Community Foundation, Love Norfolk, and Broadland Meridian for making it possible.”
We’ll share updates as the project develops. If you’re part of the Armed Forces community, you’re warmly invited to join us at The Bridge for Heroes.
