Veterans Required for Op MIRROR Out-Reach SAM Teams

Due to the heavy demand for help from the veteran community, we are currently in the process of expanding our SAM Out-Reach Teams and are looking for ex-service veterans who can spare a few hours each week in supporting the activity.

The teams provide front-line support to the most vulnerable in the veteran community, many of whom isolated/shielded individuals with significant vulnerabilities and/or cognitive impairments ranging from those with mental health issues, to others with significant life limiting health conditions or disabilities.

The Op MIRROR SAM Teams provide a number of support services to the most vulnerable with the delivery of essential provisions, prescriptions or other supplies as well as supporting those who have been identified by referrers as living with a significant vulnerability or who require wellbeing support or are suffering from mental health issues.

Full PPE is provided for those situations where it is required together with training in its use.

If you think you may be able to assist please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with a brief resume of you service history and your contact details.

The Bridge for Heroes is all funded through donations and if you are unable to assist in a Volunteer role you can still support the operation by donating. Even the smallest of amounts will be greatly received and will go towards helping those in our veteran community who most need it.
