Mental Health Awareness Month

The month of May is dedicated to Mental Health Awareness and as a veteran's mental health charity The Bridge for Heroes will promote the issues and the challenges faced by the thousands of veterans who live with PTSD , depression and other mental health conditions as a direct result of their service to our nation.

Donation from the Catenian Association

On Thursday 21st April, the West Norfolk Circle of the Catenian Association handed over a cheque for £900 to The Bridge for Heroes following a dinner at The Duke's Head Hotel. The Catenian Association is an international body of proudly Catholic laymen who meet at least once a month in local units called Circles.

Amateur Radio Day

The Bridge for Heroes now has its own Amatuer Radio Equipment and our Activity Coordinator is fully licensed to use it.  There will be an open day at Nelson House Activity Centre on 18th April 2022 (yes we know its Easter Monday but it just happens to be World Amateur Radio Day) where Tim will demonstrate its capabilities.
