Swaffham Golf Club's senior members held a charity fundraising event raising a total of £ 400 for The Bridge for Heroes. Senior Captain Colin Wilkins presented Gordon Halewood with the cheque.

The Bridge for Heroes were invited to take part in the Craft & Country Fair organised by the Magpie School of Riding for the Disabled on 19th August 2018.

The day was filled with arena displays including horse & carriage demonstrations, dog agility and classic vehicle displays. There were lots of side activities too including archery and clay Pigeon shooting. The event concluded with a Lancaster flypast.

It was an enjoyable day with our raffle being a huge success. It is definitely worth attending next year!

The Air Raid Shelters will be open on Heritage Day. Sunday 16th September. 10:00 - 16:00.

It will be a great day out for you and your families! Come and experience the authentic air raid!
Any help and support will be very much appreciated!

The Guardian Troop have been tirelessly fundraising all over East Anglia this August. They collected close to £6,500 from public donations in eight (8) towns and two (2) stores.
 
Who will you spot next month??
 
Mark Howard (and friends) have also been collecting in local stores over AUgust for his 10K hand bike challenge in aid of The Bridge for Heroes, rasing just under £2000!
 
Emma & Damien held a special 'Naming' day at The Bridge Centre for thier newborn son. Theodore. The event raised £43 for The Bridge for Heroes. A massive THANK YOU for all you generous donations!

The Chain Gange will be tackling the world-famous Ilse of Man TT mountain corse on Saturday 22nd September. They have been training hard and are now ready to confront the 37.7 mile course which includes rhe daunting Mountian mile. 
 
The team will be supporting their new stylish cycling tops , raising there funds for The Bridge for Heroes during their stay.
