A big 'thank you' to Mark and 'Reel People' for organising such a brilliant days fishing at the lovely Kingfisher lake in Wisbech St Mary. The site has a four acre fishing lake, with 42 decked fishing pegs, with easy access for wheelchair users.
Everyone was chilled, the fish were biting and Gerald fed everyone with barbecued burgers and sausages for lunch.
All of the equipment was provided including the maggots! And the novices amongst the group were treated to one to one coaching enabling everyone got catch over 5 fish each. The hostess, Florence was very amicable and would love to arrange another date very soon. If you didn't get to go on this trip you missed a great day!
'Fishing is an astonishing accessible recreational outdoor sport. When you're fishing, it does not matter how tall you are or how much you weigh. Neither are you age, social status, gender and physical fitness of importance. All it takes is some fishing equipment, a good strategy, and knowing some helpful techniques. The easy accessibility of fishing is one reason why (people) fish. However, the major reason why fishing is so popular is that it is simply good for you. Not only does fishing help you live a healthier, happier, laid-back life but it also keeps you physically fit. Similarly, spending time in nature helps you in finding a balance to your busy day-to-day life. If you fish regularly, you know how rewarding and soothing fishing is.' - http://www.planetofsuccess.com/blog/2017/inspirational-fishing-quotes/
