(March 2019)

On the 25th March Christine & Peter Howard's family held their annual bingo for The Bridge for Heroes at the Narborough Community Centre. There were hundreds of brilliant prizes to be won through 'lines and full houses' as well as a fast moving raffle.

Over all £1,018.30 which was very impressive as there were three other bingo events running on the same night in the area.

Christine organise's the Bingo nights on a regular basis for a variety of charities. This is the third year she and her dedicated team have raised money for The Bridge for Heroes. So far they have donated a total of £3,586.40!

Over the last four years Mark Howard, their son, has been fundraising individually through his hand cycle challenges and with The Bridge for Heroes fundraisers, the 'Guardian Troop' helping to raise thousands of pounds to help run the Bridge Centre and support homeless veterans.

Mark does not let his limited mobility stop him from pushing himself to the limits. He is currently looking at new ideas and challenges which don't involve too much red tape!

If you see him out and about on his hand cycle give him a toot of support!!
